Here are some of my favorite tweets from the last few weeks.  This is one of the blessings of social media where we can hear the gospel from people all over the world. If you like the tweet, go and follow the person on Twitter. Those desperately clinging to Christ for His grace have not the time or energy to compare themselves to others. For they feel as if they are the worst of all sinners and have no righteousness to boast of. The law reminds us of God’s demands and the gospel of God’s grace! @jonmoffitt We come not to the Father’s house to gain acceptance, but to rejoice and be refreshed in our eternally declared acceptance in Christ Jesus. Come, see what the Lord has done. Come, eat and drink to have your faith strengthened. Come, rest in His presence. Love Sundays!!! @jonmoffitt The Holy Spirit changes the way we think and live so we can love one another as God has loved us. #thegospelprojectkids May our focus be our “awe of You” and not what we “ought to do.” @BenjiMa...

This is a now a regular feature on the blog.  Usually on Mondays, I get caught up on my favorite podcasts and this usually results in a lot of tweeting on that day.  However, if you are at work and not checking Twitter during that time, you might miss some of the great truth being shared by others.  So, I am sharing some of best tweets from the previous week which include great wisdom and truth. Your sin does not exceed God's love. His grace does not have a breaking point. No matter how we do the math, we are justified. @Byronyawn  I've gone from preaching "just do it" to "it is finished." @RelevantChris It is not the quality of your faith (weak or strong) that saves you. But instead the object of your faith-Christ. @Byronyawn Jesus doesn't motivate with guilt but with grace. He doesn't react with condemnation but with compassion. He doesn't punish, He pursues. @ZachMaldo Nothing is more practical for living the Christian life than unio...

There is no freedom in keeping the rules or in breaking the rules. Freedom is found in being with the Father. @RelevantChris Our goal isn’t “be like David, Abraham, Jacob.” That we are like David, Abraham, & Jacob IS our problem & we need a Substitute for it badly. @JustinHWillms  "...the (Lord's) Supper is not law but gospel. It is not a funeral but a feast." @RScottClark via @BenjiMagness God's grace is less about what we can or can't do...it's way more about what Christ has done and is doing! # RealGrace  @JeremyG220 The Holy Spirit has not only...

If you tell people that they are beloved children of God, they will raise their eyes off themselves to behold him. That's how that works. @SarahTaras My job is not to keep you from sinning. It is to remind you who you are in Christ so you don't want to sin. @ShaunShahan Proverbs 31 is the personification of wisdom. Ladies, you don't have to run an estate, raise kids, do community service, etc. You're free. @BenjiMagness Paul's prayers for Ephesus reveal spiritual growth doesn't begin with being intentional about behaving but a heart reformed by beholding. @pauld...

We want the Lamb to be beheld, so we must hold him up high and long. We proclaim not helpful hints but eternal visions. @jaredcwilson  The empty tomb is the "Amen" of the Father to the "It is Finished" of His Son. @pauldunk  the way to engage the will, the path to a willing spirit, is not effort but prayer. @mockingbirdnyc  As soon as juice ran down Adam's chin, the Snake said, "You're finished!" As soon as juice ran down Jesus' chin, He cried, "It is finished!" @benjimagness  the Christian story reveals a God who sacrifices for His creation out...
