Last year, I wrote a curriculum for our 2nd-4th grade classes at our mid-week program at church called Hide N Seek.  The curriculum focused on who God is. As part of that curriculum, my friend Brittni Rhodes, made images to convey the truth about who God is.  I would like to start sharing these images weekly as a reminder of the good, great, and awesome God we have.  

Images in parenting to learn from: Cow Leaning on fence. Daughter was like cow, Dad like fence. Daughter pushing against boundary of fence. Dad instead of talking about the bad in the road shared that "Life in pasture better than in the road." Dog dragging back two legs.- "You were created for more than the way your living your life." As a family, talk about what God is doing.  We will not give God excuses. Circles -First circle-perfect shalom of God before Fall; Second circle-Circle over line & circle below line-after the Fall; Third Circles-Two intersecting circle-almond shape eye-kingdom of heaven on earth-We need to live with a foot in each circle (Heaven & Earth) Our Family is like a Tree -Shade for others so that we can better share Christ       When the Lord tells you to do something, we don't say NO.       Prayer Beth prays before she speaks, "Lord, make me truthful, but not impressive."       The mayor gave the key...
