Despite the clouds, we had a good time at our church family pool party tonight. Thanks to all who came!

Tonight was our Park & Pool Day for church. We eat together, play kickball & then head to the pool. We always have a great time. Thanks to all who attended. If you missed tonight, we have a back to school pool party scheduled for Sunday August 11.

What do you do when it's 105° outside?  We made a trip to the Perk this morning. Then did some cleaning of our bedrooms & finally headed to the pool.  Here are a few pictures. Enjoy & hopefully they can help keep you thinking "cool"!

I have not posted a highs of the week in quite some time. This idea comes from a regular occurrence at our house. At the dinner table each night we go around the table and share our high of the day. So, here are my highs for this past week: Last Saturday-Date Night with Bethany-dinner at On the Border and of course ice cream to end the date. Ice Cream to celebrate the beginning of summer at Twisted Cow Several trips to the pool with the kids Board games with the kids on Monday Megan & Kenzie's first ballgames Planning with the pastors Lunch at Wendy's with Bethany Church family trip to McPherson Water Park

It was a busy week as I prepared for a Sunday message and took the 4 kids to Yates Center Friday and Saturday. Here are a few highlights from the week: Evening with the Humphreys on Monday Sermon Preparation all week-it's always good to study God's Word and meditate on it Church Family Park & Pool Night on Wednesday-fun eating together, playing kickball and swimming. Thanks to Brett & Ron Buhrman , Jon Ewert , Derek Roth for help in moving ice cream machine. And thanks to Chris Roth for letting us borrow the machine. The kids loved the ice cream! Kids' ball games Visit to Yates Center with fireworks on Friday night and time spent with the cousins on Saturday Safe travel throughout the week Preaching today and great time of worship Sunday afternoon nap
