This is a regular feature now that replaced "Playing on the Radio." This week, I am sharing hymns that point me to Jesus. The gospel is good news.  It reminds us what Christ has DONE for us.  As I share, I hope it will be an encouragement to you today.  Song today is: Doxology by Anthem Lights

This is a new feature replacing "Playing on the Radio", but will be similar because it will include music.  I will be sharing songs from my "Gospel Playlist" on my phone. The gospel is good news.  It reminds us what Christ has DONE for us.  As I share, I hope it will be an encouragement to you today.  Song today is:  Gospel Doxology by Zac Hicks

I love theology.  Others do not.  Today's Favorite Book Friday is on theology by Michael Horton.  I appreciate his discussion of the 4 D's.  Horton writes, "One way to see how knowing, experiencing, and living are interconnected is to describe each main doctrine of the Christian faith in terms of four Ds: drama, doctrine, doxology, and discipleship.

I grew up singing the Doxology in church.  So, when I heard this new song by Zac Hicks at Liberate 2015, it brought back memories, but created new ones with extra verses that teach the gospel.  Enjoy this song as you listen & read the lyrics.
