Today I am headed to Tabor College for Kids Camp 2019.  I am serving as Director for the 4th year and have served many more in the role of all camp activity leader. Here is our logo for this year: Please pray with me for the following: Please pray for the staff and campers.   Pray for safety to and from camp and during camp.   Pray that God would get all the glory and His kingdom be advanced.  Pray for salvation and for those with a relationship with Jesus to grow closer to Him. Pray against the spiritual battles and the schemes of Satan.

I love summer camp!  How about you?  I have some of my greatest memories at camp including my decision to follow Jesus.  I am thankful for Westminster Woods in Fall River, KS.  I also have many great memories working at camps including Westminster Woods, Camp Tawakoni and now Southern District Mennonite Brethren Kids Camp at Tabor College.  Below you will find information for this summer's camps for 3rd graders through high school.  To register for these camps, go to www.sdcmbyouth.org If you have questions about Kids Camp, please contact me.  For Jr. High and Sr. High Camps, please contact our youth pastor, Jared Menard. There is also an opportunity for you to serve as a counselor or staff at these camps.  To serve at camp, you must apply.  If interested, you can apply at https://applysdcmb.campbrainstaff.com/ I am excited for this year's summer camp!

This is a now a regular feature on the blog.  Usually on Mondays, I get caught up on my favorite podcasts and this usually results in a lot of tweeting on that day.  However, if you are at work and not checking Twitter during that time, you might miss some of the great truth being shared by others.  So, I am sharing some of best tweets from the previous week which include great wisdom and truth. You Are Not Condemned: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,” (Romans 8:1) @JL_Martin  Yesterday at @SDYCJKC a few mods chanted "SC Warriors" for me on Tabor campus to go to lunch quicker. :) @SterlingCLife @TaborCollege If Jesus drank down the cup of God's wrath for sin on the cross, there is no wrath left to pour on sinners who are in Christ. You are free! @ZackJamesCole The gospel is not about what we have done or are called to do, but the announcement of God’s saving work in Jesus Christ. @MichaelHorton_ Will I see...

Today, I am at Tabor College training counselors for Jr. Kids Camp for the Southern District Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches.  I am helping as the co-director for my first time.  I have helped at Jr. Kids Camp over the years with All Camp Activities.  This will be my first year to be at camp all day, every day. Campers arrive tomorrow afternoon. Here is a song that we sang in college and that I was reminded of when I attended Jr. Camp at Tabor College this summer.  Be reminded of the victory that Jesus has over Satan.

This week, about 280 4th-6th graders from the Southern District are gathering at Tabor College for Junior Camp. I helped plan the evening all camp activities. Below you will see pictures from water day on Thursday.
