Grace is sufficient

My word for 2014 is focused on the power of God.  Are you feeling weak today?  Be encouraged by the truth of God's Word that in our weakness, Jesus is powerful. 9  But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. ” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)

Hosanna

Palm Sunday is just around the corner.  As I sing this song, I am reminded of the people shouting "Hosanna" as he rode into Jerusalem on a donkey.  Hosanna means save us.  Be reminded of our great Savior as you listen to this song today.

KS Strong Dads

Image
A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of being trained as a Community Trainer Mentor for the KS Strong Dads Project.  This state funded program will help encourage fatherhood through events, classes, fun outings, and mentoring. I have been assigned Newton, KS as my location.  I look forward to equipping dads through the KS Strong Dads Project. The activities are fun and interactive for fathers and kids and the curriculum is well done with great research, good ideas, and allows for great interaction and participation.  If you would like more information, please let me know. Below you will see other CTM's who were trained in Hesston, KS.

Are you overflowing?

I love this verse from Romans 15:13.  What a great reminder that God fills us and through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can share with others out of the overflow. 13  May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NIV)
