Tweets and more tweets

Here are some of my favorite tweets from the last few weeks.  This is one of the blessings of social media where we can hear the gospel from people all over the world. If you like the tweet, go and follow the person on Twitter.

"It is finished.” There’s nothing more to be done, concerning our salvation. Once and for all, perfectly and fully, we have been reconciled to God. The Just died for the unjust, the Beautiful One for the broken ones, the Lamb of God for the rebels from God. @ScottyWardSmith
The cross is a symbol of torture, cruelty, blood and death. Jesus turns it into the perfect display of a scandalous, unmerited love. @rjgrune
Jesus, because you were fully forsaken, we are forever forgiven. Because you exhausted God's judgment against our great unrighteousness, we now live by the gift of your perfect righteousness. Because you love us so extravagantly, we can love each other with kindness and hope. @ScottyWardSmith
Your shame stays buried because Jesus didn't. @rjgrune
We have no need to be clever with our sermons today, God’s power is enough to save and change His people. God’s power is in the gospel. Preach the gospel today and not your helpful points of improvement. Rom 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God” @jonmoffitt
