Who is your favorite author?  There are many great authors out there.  I will be sharing over the next several months authors who have helped me grow in grace and the gospel.  I will try and include images of some of my favorite books by them. 40 Minutes in the Old Testament and 30 Minutes in the New Testament Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:13-15 The people are impatient and they speak against God and Moses They think God has redeemed them to lead them to death (Why did you bring us out of Egypt?) If it’s weird, it is important.  There’s a lot of foreshadowing in this passage. The people of Israel like us do not want to die to self.  What are they supposed to learn?  God can heal, God can make alive. Ultimately, what this text is about is about One who will come and die and make us alive. The altar is made of bronze in the temple. Is this why the serpent is bronze? Jesus is the fulfillment of Numbers 21 on our behalf. Christ takes all of the evil, death, and sin on the cross and gives us His righteousness. Afternoon Podcasts at Here We Still Stand

I am attending Here We Still Stand in beautiful San Diego.  This morning, I had the privilege to walk around the bay at sunrise and then walked to the ocean as well. Visit Instagram for those photos.
