This Sunday, I continue series on the attributes of God. Or in other words, the things that make God, God.  It is entitled, "God is...." Thank you to Brittni Rhodes for the graphics. This week, we will look at God is.....Savior, Substitute, and Sacrifice Here are a few things to ponder prior to Sunday: Read the Bible passage : 1 Corinthians 2:2 and Hebrews 7:22-28 Questions to think about: What have you learned about God as Creator, Good, Great, Holy, Loving, Merciful, Provider from previous weeks?   We know what God has saved us from.  But what has he saved us to?   Why is Christ as a substitute important for us? Think about the sacrifices of the Old Testament.  How does that point to a greater understanding of God as a sacrifice? We are continuing our series, God is….which will look at what some call the attributes of God or the character or God or what makes God, God. Previously, we discussed God is Creator, Good, Great, Holy, Loving. Introduction: A.W. Tozer writes, “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.
