Operation Christmas Child Family Night
This Wednesday, November 18th is our third annual all-church family night. On this evening, all of the Wednesday night ministries are canceled and everyone gathers at the church. It is for all ages not just those with kids in Wednesday night ministries. Our family night includes a meal provided by the church, fun/learning, and filling Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Last year, we filled around 100 boxes. So, we would like to try to match the number again this year. Below you will find the suggested items to donate as well as those items that are not allowed. You can also donate $7/box for shipping costs. We hope to see you next Wednesday! Hesston MB Family Night
Tonight is the final Family Night at Hesston MB. Check back later tonight to see pictures from the evening. Join us at Hesston MB (610 W. Randall) from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for a free meal, fun, learning, and more as a family. Parents, grandparents, and siblings are invited to join children who normally attend Hide N Seek (4 years old through 4th grade). I hope to see you there! There is a chance to win free t-shirts too!

A year later
Well, I have officially been in Hesston for a year now. As I think back over the last year, I am blessed by what God has done for me and in and through me. I cannot believe it has already been a year. As I ponder those times of provision and learning, I am reminded that God is always faithful. He has been with us every step of the way. I wanted to share a few ways God has worked in the last year: Richard & Rosemary Prieb opening their house to my family. I stayed with them during the week and Bethany and the kids joined on the weekends. Thanks to the generosity of the Priebs ! Moving the whole family into our current home which was a complete God thing in how we found out about the house and how patient the Holmes were with us as we tried to sell our house in Iola . Around 30 visits with individuals and couples to get to know them better and to share about the family ministry at Hesston MB. I have loved each of these visits!
