Gospel Playlist

This is a new feature replacing "Playing on the Radio", but will be similar because it will include music.  I will be sharing songs from my "Gospel Playlist" on my phone. The gospel is good news.  It reminds us what Christ has DONE for us.  As I share, I hope it will be an encouragement to you today.  Song today is:  Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery by Matt Papa

Quotes from Prodigal Church

I recently finished reading Prodigal Church by Jared C. Wilson. It was a book that resonated with me because of how we do church.  Wilson does a great job of explaining just because it works and is growing does not mean it is healthy.  Many will disagree with Wilson, but I agree with much in this book.  Below you find several of the quotes that connected with me. Beholding Jesus

I am reading The Power of Right Believing by Joseph Prince.  I know some of you might question his theology.  I am reading his book (as I do with all books) with Scripture right beside me.  I was blessed by this quote today: "Many think they have to do more in order to be more holy, accepted, and loved by God. The truth is, when you behold Jesus more and see His love, His forgiveness, His abundant grace, and His gift of righteousness purchased for you with His own blood, you will be transformed supernaturally. Holiness is a by-product of seeing Jesus in His grace. When you see Jesus and receive His love and grace every day, your heart is transformed inwardly."
