Because God is our Redeemer , Thus says the Lord , your Redeemer who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord , who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens,   who spread out the earth by myself, (Isaiah 44:24)   For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.                                                       (Job 19:25)  In Christ, we are redeemed : “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” (Galatians 3:13) “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people (Luke1:68)      

I am continuing to share great hymns of the faith which focus on the cross and Jesus.  Be reminded what Christ accomplished for you and me on the cross. We are redeemed, purchased by His blood, our debt has been paid and we are free.

Here are a few promises of God from the book of Ruth:   May the Lord repay you for what you have done.   May you be richly rewarded by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge (2:12).  Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a kinsman-redeemer (4:14).
