God is making all things new!
We have come to the end of the Bible and sharing verses based on my word for 2014. At the end of the world, Jesus wins! Listen to these verses from Revelation 19:1: 19 After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
His divine power has granted us . . .
The power of Jesus is available to us through the Holy Spirit. Listen to what this power has accomplished in 2 Peter 1:3: His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
God gave us . . .
My word for 2014 is power. It is the Greek word, dynamis. It can refer to human power, but most often it focuses on God's power which may be given to us. An example of that is seen in today's verse from 2 Timothy. 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. (2 Timothy 1:7)
