Richard Ross at D6 Conference

Richard Ross had a lot of great things to share at the D6 Conference: We have raised teens with a little Jesus in their pocket. The single most important thing we can do: embracing the full majesty of Christ becoming more and more like Him joining Him in making disciples among all people We have a conduit which carries faith between parent a child. The conduit is a relationship. Check out the last words of the O.T is Malachi 4:6 and opening words of the N.T. in Luke 1:17. Isn't that interesting? We need to pray that fathers' hearts are turned to the children and the that children's hearts are turned to the fathers. What can break heart connections with our kids? too little focused time together emotional injury Parents rebuild heart connections by . . . forgiving teenagers asking teenagers for forgiveness courageously addressing family schedules disciple with consequences rather than outbursts loving unconditionally using words to bless encourage and build up
