Sermon Teaser-Community VBS Service

This Sunday, we will not have regular Go Deeper Hour or worship at Hesston MB.  Instead, please join us at Hesston High School at 10:30 a.m. for a Community Worship Service to celebrate Vacation Bible School.  This is a great opportunity to worship with others from our community who attend other churches.  Also, it is a great way to support our kids who will be singing songs and reading Scripture from VBS week.  This service is all about the kids.

Don't use this as an excuse to stay home, but join us at 10:30 a.m.

For those who need extra assistance, there will be golf carts in the parking lot to help you get to the high school doors.

Sermon Notes "Plans" based on Acts 10:24-48

Introduction: I would like you to think about the word “plans”. Write down on your bulletin some plans you have for: this week, summer, your future, etc.   I am a planner so I love to know what is going to happen.   Yet we also need to keep in mind a Scripture from Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” We are going to see from the story of Peter and Cornelius, two great leaders who had plans yet God had a different plan and purpose for them and for others.
