Fall Ministries begin tonight!

Tonight, marks the beginning of our Wednesday night ministries at Hesston MB Church.  I look forward to the parent's meeting for Hide N Seek (4 year olds through 4th grade) & fuzion (5th/6th grade) tonight.  I anticipate God doing some amazing things through these ministries this school year.  If you have a child in this age group, I invite you to Hesston MB Church (610 W. Randall) at 6:45 p.m. for a meal & registration night for Hide N Seek and to Hesston Middle School for a meeting to discuss fuzion.

Here are a few reasons I am excited:
  • Lessons about Jesus & the Bible to help children know who God is
  • Devotions that families can work on together at home to pass on faith
  • Prayer group that will be praying each Wednesday for these ministries
  • Excitement of children coming from the church and community
  • Prayer & Bible Memory being encouraged throughout
  • Children making a decision to follow Jesus as Lord & Savior
  • Workers who use their gifts to serve God and children!

Sermon Notes "Plans" based on Acts 10:24-48

Introduction: I would like you to think about the word “plans”. Write down on your bulletin some plans you have for: this week, summer, your future, etc.   I am a planner so I love to know what is going to happen.   Yet we also need to keep in mind a Scripture from Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” We are going to see from the story of Peter and Cornelius, two great leaders who had plans yet God had a different plan and purpose for them and for others.
