Promises of God from 2 Chronicles
Be reminded of who God is and His promises today from 2 Chronicles:
“O Lord, God of Israel, there is
no God like you in heaven or on earth—you who keep your covenant of love with
your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way. You have kept your promise to your servant
David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have
fulfilled it—as it is today” (6:14-15).
“If my people, who are called by
my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their
wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will
heal their land. Now my eyes will be
open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so
that my Name may be there forever. My
eyes and my heart will always be there” (7:14-16).
“The eyes of the Lord range
throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to
him” (16:9).
“Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s” (20:15).
“The Lord your God is gracious and
compassionate. He will not turn his face
from you if you return to him” (30:9).
“Do not be afraid or discouraged
because of the king of Assyria and the vast
army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with
us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles” (32:7-8).
